On the road again...again

Hello friends!

I think I am the last one to be done so yay, we are indeed all done! I'm on the train (again) and about an hour away from home. The guy sitting next to me in his Patagonia and bean boots judged me hardcore earlier at the station for eating my McDonald's breakfast while he ate Au Bon Pain, but he's been snoring pretty loudly so now I'm judging him. Speaking of Patagonia and bean boots, my campus is the equivalent of prep city, I haven't even heard if Canada Goose before I got to HC, and I suddenly see it everywhere. Must be the gentleman and a scholar thing.

I definitely could have studied more for finals, but they are done, grades are due next week and it is now out of my hands.AHH PANIC. And if I do proceed as planned and take five classes, even more panic. Oh and I'm thinking pretty seriously about studying abroad this summer, and I'm going to apply to a language immersion program in Beijing and a neurobiology program in Italy, hopefully I get into one and the financial aid details work out? Fingers crossed!

I'm also very excited to see everyone, when does everyone go back? I think I'm home until January 23rd or so.

I hope to see everyone soon! But, if it just so happens that I don't until next year...(cries) Merry Christmas!!!

Love always,
Juliet

Free at Last

I did not know the terrors of finals until this past week and I can say from experience that yes, they were quite terrifying. Was not prepared for the time management required and procrastination is truly a fearsome foe. But, thankfully all that is done and over with and the most stressful time of the year becomes the most fun time of the year.

Winter Study my friends! It is a most glorious time! The entire month of campus the campus gets to relax and frolick in the winter wonderland that we live in. We only take one class, and they are fun classes! I am taking stained glass painting and tiling, which just sounded too ridiculous no too take. When in your life are you going to learn how to make stained glass windows for a person who went to school for stained glass. Like what motivates a person to do this? Are they extremely religious? Like sharp things? I don't know, but I will find out dudes, and of course I will report back. Another thing to look forward to during winter study is entry dodge ball. We are having a team and we are playing against the other entries. It is going to be great. You all know I am a BOSS dodge ball player. Dodging is my superpower. So excited. It is going to be great to go back this January. It is something to look forward too and that is nice.

Guys we did it! Can you believe it. We have all made it through the first semester of college. 1/8 done. 1/8! It all went by so quickly.

Well, in the meanwhile Fred and I have some baking to do if I am to reach my goal of eating my body weights worth of cookies this holiday season. Wish me luck guys!

P.S. I am so excited to see all of your faces!!!!!
